LeSean McCoy was one of only two running backs to reach 100 rushing yards in Week 1 – Shane Vereen was the other – while Doug Martin was the only other consensus first-round RB to get 20-plus carries. As a result, two of our experts tabbed Martin as a safe “stud” heading into his Week 2 matchup against the Saints’ weak run D. Another expert went with McCoy, who looked borderline unstoppable in his debut in Chip Kelly’s warp-speed offense. Martin and McCoy rank first and fourth, respectively, in our RB rankings this week.

The last two of our experts' "stud" picks for Week 2 aren't so safe. There are some big names -- Arian Foster and Darren McFadden -- but each requires some faith. Foster looked rusty in his Monday night matchup against the Chargers while losing some snaps to Ben Tate, but we think he'll be more involved and more effective in his second game after missing most of the preseason. Plus, we love this week's matchup against the Titans.

McFadden, meanwhile, looked OK in his season debut, totaling 66 yards and a TD and barely missed out on a receiving score. The Raiders offense also looked much better than expected behind Terrelle Pryor, which is why at least one of our experts is confident in DMC's ability to take advantage of a great matchup with the Jaguars this weekend.

There's even more faith in our experts' "sleeper" RB picks, which include a rookie, a second-year back who busted in Week 1, one of our studs' backups and a pair of veterans who were relatively quiet last week but have juicy matchups in Week 2. Fantasy football owners should make sure to check out our "stumbler" picks, too, as some of these guys are likely locked into your starting lineups for Week 2.
