Going by PunishedCrab on Reddit, the video creator says that they made the sizzle reel focusing on upcoming games for PlayStation in 2022. They do correct themselves and say some games are scheduled for beyond 2023, though. The style of the video is an emulation of PlayStation’s showcases and presentation, mixing music with cuts between gameplay and cinematic sequences, and the fan replicates it quite well.

The first 10 seconds of the trailer jump through over a dozen upcoming PlayStation games, including Horizon Forbidden West, Dying Light 2, Ghostwire Tokyo, Wolverine, Stray, Little Devil Inside, Ghostwire Tokyo, Hogwarts Legacy, Elden Ring, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, Forspoken, Tchia, Goodbye Volcano High, Gran Turismo 7, and Solar Ash. Most of these games aren’t immediately recognizable based on the initial clip shown, but that’s part of the sizzle effect. The brief tease pulls viewers into the rest of the trailer.
In the remaining 70 seconds of the trailer, PunishedCrab slows down and offers longer looks at each game. These longer clips offer a better taste of each game’s personality, edited to flow along with the video’s music track, “Oblivion” by Royal Blood. Other games featured from this point on include Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Suicide Squad, Final Fantasy 16, Saints Row, God of War: Ragnarok, Spider-Man 2, Project Eve, and Gotham Knights.
Overall, the trailer fits a healthy 23 games into less than a minute and a half of footage, mixing games both large and small. Not every game has a release date yet, like Insomniac’s Wolverine, but all games are confirmed to be coming to the PlayStation 5.
